Building a grid collage from several photos
A collage takes a set of separate photos and arranges them into one image, split into evenly spaced cells. It's the fastest way to turn a handful of pictures from one event or trip into a single shareable graphic, without opening a design program.
Choosing a layout
Auto grid picks the closest-to-square arrangement for however many photos you upload — three photos become a row of three, five photos become a 2-and-3 arrangement, and so on. If you want a specific shape regardless of how many photos you have, the fixed layouts (2×2, 3×3) crop or repeat cells to fit exactly that grid.
Spacing and borders
The spacing slider controls the gap between photos, and the border color fills that gap plus any outer margin. A dark border tends to make individual photos feel more separated and gallery-like; setting spacing to zero produces a seamless, edge-to-edge mosaic instead.

No. Each photo is automatically cropped to fill its grid cell, so photos of different dimensions and orientations still line up cleanly.
Is anything uploaded to a server?
No. All compositing happens locally in your browser using canvas.
